In matters concerning clear failure to make any payment perhaps it would be better if clients ultimately accept to make payment when payment was due, especially in the challenging times the industry is currently facing.
Legislation has been amended to protect companies who do not wish to pay, and although this maybe a sensible approach in some instances, it certainly does not always make sense. I do not see much in the way of legislation changes for the protection of SME's when they need cash most.
